Join us for a special screening of Speak Up for Freedom IFRA, Alliance Française Port Harcourt, and Art in the Garden City, with the support of Institut Français, invite you to an exceptional documentary screening. Directed by Clément Sibony, Speak Up for Freedom follows Nigerian women survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation as they reclaim their voices through theatre. Through the inspiring work of Mission of Intervention and Sensitisation against Trafficking, the documentary explores resilience, resistance, and the power of storytelling. The film sheds light on the realities of human trafficking affecting Nigerian women in Europe. In the absence of legal justice, six women create a fictional trial on stage, transforming silence and pain into strength and collective action. Following the screening, we will be honoured to welcome: - Élodie Apard – Board member of MIST and coordinator of the Life After Trafficking project - Flora Enifo – Co-founder and Community Manager of MIST
