Directed by Clément Sibony, Speak Up for Freedom follows Nigerian women survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation as they reclaim their voices through theatre. Through the inspiring work of Mission of Intervention and Sensitisation against Trafficking, the documentary explores resilience, resistance, and the power of storytelling.
Following the screening, we welcomed Élodie Apard (board member of MIST and coordinator of the Life After Trafficking project) and Flora Enifo (co-founder and Community Manager of MIST).

Kids enjoyed a fun, hands-on experience exploring an age-old textile design technique through vibrant colors, creative patterns, and self-expression. A day of art, learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories designed to spark creativity in every child.

The Post-Memory, Post-Archive project, funded by the Goethe-Institut Nigeria, came to Port Harcourt!
This all-day Garden City experience was presented in partnership with Art in the Garden City, Visions Film Society, and Alliance Française Port Harcourt.
The event marked another stop on a nationwide tour featuring archival projects developed in partnership with the Nigerian Film Corporation. The project brought together artists and researchers from diverse disciplines, who traveled to various archives in Ibadan and the Nigerian Film, Video and Sound Archive in Jos to explore Nigeria's storied history.
An invitation to engage with our past, rethink the importance of archives, and actively shape our future.

Two powerful films exploring the theme: Through the Eyes of Adolescence.
Film 1: La Petite Vendeuse de Soleil (1999) — A determined young girl, Sili, challenges gender norms on the streets of Dakar by taking on a job reserved for boys, proving that courage and self-belief can defy expectations.
Film 2: TÓTEM (2023) — Seven-year-old Sol spends the day preparing for her father's birthday, as quiet tensions and tender moments reveal the fragile beauty of family life.
